FIELD HOUSE, TISBURY Posted at 05:39 am, Tuesday, 18 May 2010 Field House is a 6 bedroom house that quite frankly was not built very well. The new owners have asked me to wave a magic wand as well as a paint brush at this house and I think it will be a real test of our skills. The house suffers from a patchwork of cracks in every room, all the doors are in a state and some of them look like they came out of a skip, the door frames are all cracked and the ceilings and walls suffer from bad plaster, bad plastering and it looks like it was allowed to dry out too quickly. So far Kevin, John and myself have managed to get three rooms and two hallways done, two rooms nearly done and two more prep'd in 3 weeks. To me this seems a long time but every room is taking two days to prep, the painting is the easiest part.
